The London producer and DJ strikes out on his own.
Grime talent-turned-house star T.Williams has launched Today, Tomorrow Records, promising to “deliver an organic point of intersection” between “the worlds of urban and electronic music”. The label kicks off with a bundle of his own material on the Acoustic Treatment EP, which is led by new single ‘Days End’, a delirious house roller decked with balearic guitar noodling, acid bursts and rave piano stabs – hear it below.
After that EP, he returns to his grime roots with a vinyl-only release of vintage, circa 2002 tracks from Jon E Cash of Williams’ old Black Ops collective.
Meanwhile on February 12, the label will herald its arrival with a Today, Tomorrow event in Manchester featuring Maribou State, South Africa’s Trancemicsoul and London veteran and original Fabric resident Tayo.
