Caldo Verde Records announce the follow up to last year’s excellent Benji LP, our favourite album of 2014.
In an interview with Pitchfork at the beginning of this year, Mark Kozelek revealed that he was aiming to release a new Sun Kil Moon album “by fall.” The San Francisco singer looks to have delivered the goods, with Kozelek’s Caldo Verde Records imprint today unveiling a new Sun Kil Moon LP, scheduled to arrive in the coming months.
The new album is titled Universal Themes and was recorded in San Francisco and Hoboken. It includes previously released single ‘The Possum’, which features percussion from Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth.
Universal Themes will be released on June 2. You can check the tracklist below. [via Pitchfork]
