The club music deconstructionists join forces once again on their upcoming EP.

When Om Unit (Jim Coles) and Sam Binga shared the opener ‘Onionz‘ from their upcoming Transatlantic EP, they tagged it as “#weirdstep”. That silly tag doesn’t quite get across the otherworldly qualities they bring to drum and bass on their new EP, but it’s hard to think of any word that would.

The two sound even more singular on the closing track ‘Wei’, which takes weighty bass tones and blends them with snaps, processed vocal choruses to create something that’s heavy, feather-light, and constantly unpredictable all at once.
