Wiley, Goldie, Zinc, Digital Mystikz, Joker, Loefah and more play the one-day event in June.
London’s Found festival is expanding this year, going from a single event in Haggerston Park to a series of five themed events across the summer.
The first is a festival called Born & Bred focusing on bass culture, which champions “true London sounds forged in the Big Smoke.” Wiley will be headlining together with Metalhead founder Goldie on the main arena, which also features appearances from Zinc, Digital Mystikz, Moxie, Bristol bashment crew The Heatwave and Joker performing The Mainframe live.
The second arena is curated by Swamp81 boss Loefah, who will be bringing Wheel & Deal affiliate Benton, School Records boss Klose One, Mickey Pearce and Paleman together with Youngsta, Zed Bias, MC Chunky and Jonny Banger.
London web channel Just Jam are running the third arena, with their own custom live visual display. Just Jam’s grime-heavy line-up includes OGz – featuring P Money, Blacks, Little Dee, Jendor, Desperado and Stormer – and legendary grime MCs D Double E & Footsie and Newham Generals. The next generation of grime talent will be represented by Lewisham collective The Square, who join Spyro, Royal-T and special guest T. Williams.
Finally, the fourth arena will be run by fashion site Wavey Garms. They bring a taste of the old school with appearances from UK Garage pioneers Foundation together with MC Creed, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Artful Dodger, Oxide & Neutrino, V Recordings label bosses Jumping Jack Frost and Bryan G and jungle veteran Brockie.
The festival takes place in London’s Haggerston Park on Saturday June 6. Full details and tickets can be found at the Born & Bred website.
