Delta Funktionen launches Wasteland series

Dutch techno and electro enthusiast Delta Funktionen will release a collection of four EPs via his own Radio Matrix label.

The EPs are part of a series entitled Wasteland, which collects tracks that were all produced by Niels Luinenburg within the last eighteen months. The series was born when Luinenburg began working with a new graphic designer, with the pair eventually conceptualising an extended project for them to collaborate on.

Wasteland is accompanied by a Drexciya-like info sheet complete with a distinctly imagined world. According to the press release, Wasteland is the name of a mysterious planet, and the music collected on the EPs represents the auditory data recorded by Delta Funktionen on his journey towards it.

Chapter 1: Goodbye Galaxy will be released in May. The release dates for the further three records are still to be announced. Once they have arrived, all four 12″s will be collected on a CD that will include a bonus track.
