Mr. Mitch‘s Gobstopper label continues to get abstract with grime on a new EP by Social State, Human Error.

The EP’s title track takes some of the genre’s standards – detuned square waves, full-fat bass hits and a lead melody that crawled out the same graveyard as ‘Ghetto Kyote’ – and twists them into something that’s not a million miles from post-rock in the way it slowly builds tension.
