Hyperactive cartoons are the perfect foil for the oddball artist.

For Dan Deacon’s latest visuals, the Baltimore original teamed up with Adult Swim series Off The Air to task nine animators with interpreting his new single, ‘When I Was Done Dying’.

In order of appearance, the animators are Jake Fried, Chad VanGaalen, Dimitri Stankowicz, Colin White, Taras Hrabowsky, Anthony Schepperd, Masanobu Hiraoka, Caleb Wood and KOKOFREAKBEAN. The track appears on Deacon’s new album Gliss Riffer.
