Update, March 27: Kanye West acted as co-producer the track alongside Roc Nation signee Deputy.
Travis Scott and 18-year-old WondaGurl offered additional production as well, Billboard reports.
Update, March 26: Rihanna has released clips of the single on Dubsmash.
As The Guardian reports, you can hear snippets of ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ now, but you’ll have to download an app called Dubsmash to do it.
The app, which allows users to upload and share mobile phone videos of themselves lip-syncing to audio clips is available as a free download on the App Store.
As The Guardian also points out, the song title is a reference to Keenen Ivory Wayans’s 1988 blaxploitation parody film I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, which saw the line “bitch, you better have my money” spoken by Antonio Fargas’s character, Fly Guy.
The pop star’s new single from her eighth album is out tomorrow.
Rihanna took to Instagram today to announce that the new single from her highly anticipated new album will be out tomorrow. Written in braille, the title on the cover translates to ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ which the Instagram hashtag #BBHMM seems to corroborate.
The album, which has been teased under the name R8 is scheduled to come this year, with a surprise release expected. No tracklist has surfaced, but executive producer Kanye West previously confirmed it would include ‘FourFiveSeconds’, their collaborative song with Paul McCartney and it is expected to include ‘World Peace’ which leaked at the beginning of this year.
