Last year’s EP is revisited and reformed through “Pool” Remixes.

Last year Classical Trax released Let’s Go Swimming, an EP inspired by David Hockney and Arthur Russell, and named after the record of the same name. Now those original up-and-coming artists — Nunu, City Fitness, Martinou, V Geels and Les Yper Sound — have each chosen five other up-and-coming artists to remix their work though this collection of “Pool Remixes”.

The result is something familiar, but nonetheless surprising. In some cases such as Martinou’s lead-off ‘Let’s Go Swimming’ Scheele takes the blissful original and ups the energy. Elsewhere the aggressive ‘What Do You Like To Do’ by Les Yper Sound is trimmed to minimal essentials by Sexworker. The latter comes with a remix of Lvls‘ original animated video which you can watch below.
