Wiz Khalifa’s single ‘See You Again’ has broken the record for the most Spotify streams the US in 24 hours.

The song, which appears on the Fast & Furious 7 soundtrack, was played 4.2 million times on Monday and also set a new record for the most streams in a single week worldwide, with 21.9 million plays between April 6 and April 12.

The track is currently top of the charts in 26 countries, including the UK, US, Australia, Hong Kong, Germany, Canada and Switzerland. The track’s hook, sung by Charlie Puth, has been seen as a tribute to actor Paul Walker, who appears in the film posthumously. [via Guardian]
