On Record Store Day last week, Phonica packed over 1,000 people (over the course of the day, not at once!) into its annual in-store.
With sets from Detroit veteran Andres, garage legend Todd Edwards, Montreal romantic Jacques Greene and a little guy called Four Tet, plus rotating DJs upstairs, it’s fair to say they were rewarded. Maybe they even bought some records – just hopefully not U2.
