Dev79 and partner-in-crime Starkey have spent years pushing their “street bass” concept forward, crossbreeding US rap and R&B with UK-born electronic music before that was the global norm.

On ‘Bullets Like Come’ (an evocative title-lyric pulled from an obscure freestyle), Dev79 continues to evolve his sound, drawing from breakcore, grime, hardstyle and beyond for a supercharged headbanger that is almost too hyperactive.

Trouble & Bass pro Star Eyes has focused on the track’s grime elements for her remix, which you can download below. The single is out now on Dev79’s Seclusiasis imprint, backed with remixes by Pixelord, Darren Keen and others, and — in the fulfillment of a childhood dream — it’s being released with 3D glasses and stickers.
