“It’s called Solace … it’s more for my mom.”
It’s only been a few weeks since Earl Sweatshirt released I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside, but now he’s back with a new recording titled ‘Solace’. The track is a tranquil 10-minute collage and one of the most sparse sounding recordings Earl has ever delivered. As Complex points out, Earl referred to the piece in his recent NPR interview saying, “”We set up a studio at my house and I did a little project real real fast … it’s called Solace. And that, I’m just sitting — it’s more for my mom.”
