Kanye West is reportedly in talks to have his own show on Vice’s new TV channel.
As the NYT reports, the magazine-turned-media-goliath is on the verge of getting its own cable channel, giving the company a mainstream outlet for its non-news programming like Action Bronson’s food show Fuck, That’s Delicious.
Vice plans to take over H2, the History Channel spin-off owned by A&E Networks (itself owned by Hearst and Disney), filling it with shows on sport, fashion, food and travel, including Ellen Page’s Gaycation and the self-explanatory Weediquette. There’s no detail on what form Kanye’s show might take, but we’d guess it might focus on his current fashion obsession.
In other ‘Ye news, he recently wrote an essay about the American dream and renamed his forthcoming album SWISH.
