Prince will be headlining a special Rally 4 Peace concert on Sunday.

The concert will take place at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore. The Purple One will be joined by his 3RDEYEGIRL band as well as a number of yet-to-be-named artists.

“In a spirit of healing, the event is meant to be a catalyst for pause and reflection following the outpouring of violence that has gripped Baltimore and areas throughout the US,” said a press release for the event.

Attendees have been asked to wear grey clothing as a tribute “to all those recently lost in the violence.” Prince recently recorded a protest track entitled ‘Baltimore’ following the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray.

Tickets to the Rally 4 Peace will go on sale Wednesday at 5pm EST via LiveNation. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local Baltimore-based youth charities. [via MSNBC]
