Welcome to FACT’s weekly video round-up.

As we note at the end of every year, music videos have never been better. But too often, music videos — along with documentaries, live sets and interview clips — get lost in the shuffle of news and new music.

With that in mind, FACT is doing what it does for mixes, mixtapes, vinyl and more: rounding up the internet’s best videos on a weekly basis. And to remove our bias, we won’t be including our own content — you’ll have to stay tuned to FACT TV for all your Against The Clock, FACT Freestyle and Big Narstie needs.

Giorgio Moroder feat. Sia
‘Déjà Vu’
Dir: Alexandra Dahlström

Taking the title literally, the ‘Déjà Vu’ video sees our protagonist play Groundhog Day with a Sia doppelgänger, until the Shocking Reveal turns the tide from love to revenge. Moroder cameos as the sage chauffeur (and DJ, naturally).

Kali Uchis
‘Rush’
Dir: Kali Uchis & WIISSA

The retro-obsessed pop star is about 75% aesthetic, and her video for ‘Rush’ is pitch perfect: a 70s exploitation flick with four girls in the desert, roller blades, hot pants, a Camaro and a couple of nods to Death Proof.

Cid Rim
‘Charge’
Dir: Gregor Lehrl

The Lucky Me regular shares a black-and-white tribute to his gear: his computer, drums and Wurlitzer star in this inverted video where Cid Rim’s technical prowess is barely the focus.

Throwing Shade feat. Emily Bee
‘Honeytrap’
Dir: Rob Heppell

Throwing Shade explores an all-red Garden of Eden, flipping the gender role script: an unnamed man adds a visceral edge as he handles the flesh of watermelons and pomegranates.

The Holy KIT
‘Ahead of My Time’
Dir: Jake Osmun

Chicago rapper KIT has been on a tear recently, dropping video after video in advance of his new projects. This week he dropped three videos, and the most compelling (the eery ‘Ahead Of My Time’) follows a street transaction gone sideways.

Circuit des Yeux
‘Do the Dishes’
Dir: Julia Dratel

A cataloging of domestic duties quickly becomes upsetting; a good reminder that no matter how hard you clean the dishes or how hard you run (in the nude) on the treadmill, the pain remains and death awaits.

Willow
‘F Q-C #7’
Dir: Willow Smith & Mike Vargas

The 14-year-old pop scion continues to impress with this short-but-sweet video that she co-directed. In Afrobeat face paint and color-coded outfits she mans her own band and offers her own brand of left-field pop. And even though she was born four years after his death, that Tupac shirt doesn’t read as hipster nostalgia: her mother was a close friend of the rap legend.

Zebra Katz & Leila
‘You Tell Em’
Dir: Helgi & Hörður

Zebra Katz and Leila turn tech-obsessed lyrics into a dystopian hellscape, pairing industrial rap with flamethrowers and video distortion.

The Chemical Brothers
‘Go’
Dir: Michel Gondry

Michel Gondry returns to the form with which he made his name, and while the synchronized dancers of ‘Go’ are striking, it’s hard for him to top his legendary videos for Daft Punk, Björk and others.

Slug Christ
‘Crucifixion Day’
Dir: Slug Christ

The Awful iconoclast and DIY advocate crafted a short film for ambient centerpiece ‘Crucifixion Day’, unveiling his own Christ myth in his usual, lo-fi-goth aesthetic.
