The Vancouver producer has announced a new two-tracker for Maxmillion Dunbar’s label.
Jack J, a core member of the Mood Hut collective and one half of Pender Street Steppers, will release a new EP for Future Times next month. The new EP is the latest signal of a strong association between the two labels—Mood Hut members Hashman Deejay and House Of Doors releasing music through Max D’s D.C.-based imprint.
The A-side of the new 12″ is reserved for ‘Thirstin”, which “takes the day-in-the-life quintessence of ‘Something (On My Mind)’ even further, using his voice to beautify the sparkling, spaced track.” The flip is reserved for ‘Atmosphere’, which Future Times describe as having a “Patrick Adams vibe”.
Thirstin’ will be released in June. You can preview both tracks below. [via RA]
