Hyperdub have announced the release of a collaborative track from vocalist/producer Jessy Lanza and Teklife members DJ Spinn and Taso. You Never Show Your Love is Lanza’s first release on Kode9’s vaunted imprint since the release of her debut album Pull My Hair Back in 2013.

Since then, Lanza provided a track to the label’s 10th anniversary compilation, appeared on Caribou’s last album and created a collaborative EP with Morgan Geist of Metro Area.

Lanza and the Teklife pair have combined to create an R&B track that finds Spinn and Taso working with a slower tempo than usual. ‘You Never Show Your Love’ comes backed with an instrumental version as well as a Teklife remix that brings the track into familiar footwork territory and features the late DJ Rashad. The package is completed by Bambounou’s remix of Lanza’s ‘Fuck Diamond’, originally released on Hyperdub’s 10.4 compilation.
