McCartney played the melody to his Kanye West collaboration during a 1999 interview with Michael Parkinson.

During the interview, the former Beatle discusses the birth of his second child, Mary. While in the hospital, McCartney noticed a painting of a man with two fingers playing a guitar. He attempted to recreate the man’s style and composed an entire song using just two fingers.
