Prefuse 73 is making a splashy comeback this year with not one but three new records.

Every Color of Darkness and Forsyth Gardens were written in the six months after Guillermo Scott Herren handed in his album, Rivington Nao Rio, to his label. Where Forsyth Gardens was themed around the downtown NYC neighbourhood Herren has lived in for the past year, Every Colour of Darkness relates to the nighttime and its denizens, as he explained in a revealing and intimate interview with FACT’s Laurent Fintoni.

The EP is out on July 10 via Temporary Residence – see the tracklist below and stream ‘Search The Sky’. Two of the EP’s tracks appeared on his recent FACT mix. [via Pitchfork]
