Having claimed his band Korn invented dubstep a few years ago, Jonathan Davis is looking to colonise the country genre.
According to an Instagram post, the vocalist is in the studio with country duo Big & Rich. The picture came adorned with the hashtag “Bakersfieldsound”, which refers to the sub-genre of country developed in the honky-tonk bars of the California city in the late 1950s.
Let’s just hope it sounds better than his dubstep side project. [via The Guardian]
