It’s a “suburban dream in Brooklyn”, says the Beastie Boy.
Mike D is selling his four-storey townhouse in Cobble Hill for $5.6 million, which gets you five bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms (whatever that entails), a media room, a second kitchen, 11′ ceilings and period details plus – a rare thing in Brooklyn – a huge garden. It’s pretty sweet.
Located at 148 Baltic Street, the 3,200 sq. ft. home was profiled in the New York Times in 2013 when Mike D and his wife, Tamra Davis, had finished their $500,000 renovation project.
God knows who can afford this thing but you can at least snoop around every room on Corcoran – look out for the wallpaper designed by Mike D himself featuring Brooklyn icons like The Notorious B.I.G., Coney Island and the Brooklyn Bridge. [via Gothamist/Complex]
