Includes club-ready versions from Atom™ and Scuba.
Dance chameleon Uwe Schmidt will return to his regular home of Raster-Noton next month for a new EP as Atom™. Riding the Void is the first Atom™ release on the label since Ich Bin Meine Maschine, released early last year.
Riding the Void picks up where that EP left off, serving as the conclusion to Schmidt’s “examination of pop music and culture” on the label that began with his 2013 album HD.
Like the previous EP, Riding the Void is geared squarely towards the club. The record includes four versions of the title track—the album version featured on HD, two functional remixes from Schmidt and a throbbing ‘Pulse Mix’ from Scuba. The digital release includes an additional version from Hanno Leichtmann.
Riding the Void will be released by Raster-Noton on July 25.
