David Byrne presented his Contemporary Color performance last night during Toronto’s Luminato Festival.
The colour guard performance was accompanied by original compositions, performed live by a host of musicians.
Performers included St. Vincent, Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes, tUnE-yArDs, How to Dress Well, Ad-Rock and Money Mark, Zola Jesus, Kelis, Nelly Furtado, Nico Muhly and This American Life host Ira Glass.
Contemporary Color takes places again tonight at Luminato Festival, before moving on to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on June 27 and 28.
