The app lets you use your iTunes library to help find the events you want.

Resident Advisor has just launched a new mobile app for iOS called RA Guide.

While the site’s huge database of artists, events, clubs and promoters was optimised for mobile devices early last year, the new app gives event recommendations based on your location and allows you to import your favourite DJs and artists from your iTunes library to find events based on your musical taste.

If you’re a user of the desktop site, you’ll be able to use your existing RA login and follow DJs, promoters and clubs manually to get custom listings. You’ll be able to buy tickets and share events to Facebook and Twitter direct from the app, and use your Facebook profile to log in to the app if you wish.

“We know this is something many of you have wanted for a long time, and this app has been made with all of RA‘s users—promoters, artists and music lovers—in mind,” said RA.

The RA Guide is free of charge and available now on the App Store.
