“François Hollande where are the fucking police???”
Uber might be cheap and convenient, but it’s not popular with everyone. In France, taxi drivers have today blocked the roads to Paris airports and the main ring road around the city in protest against the service, overturning cars and prompting riot police to use tear gas against some.
One person caught in the protests was Courtney Love, who sent a series of tweets – one to Kanye West – detailing her plight and asking French president François Hollande “where are the fucking police?”.
There was no sign of Hollande, but Love was eventually rescued by two men with a motorbike. [via NME]
