It’s that time of year again.

Every summer for the last 18 (!) years, MoMA PS1 has invited audiences to check out Warm Up, an outdoor music series presenting the best in underground, experimental music each Saturday, and 2015’s selection is looking unmissable. FACT have teamed up with the Warm Up crew to present a special series of mixes – one each week to coincide with the shows – so even if you’re nowhere near New York City, you can still enjoy this year’s lineup from afar.

Back in the early 00s, a young Slimzee established Rinse FM, a then-pirate station responsible for keeping Londoners in the know about the sounds bubbling up from the blocks of Tower Hamlets and beyond. Since then he’s established himself as the “godfather of grime”, and despite taking a break from radio after a 2005 Asbo (an “antisocial behaviour order”), he returned in 2014 to London’s NTS Radio and is still a force to be reckoned with. His MoMA PS1 Warm Up mix spotlights tried and tested favorites Geeneus and Spooky and gives time to relative newcomers JT the Goon, Trends and more.

Slimzee will be performing alongside Skepta, Dark0, Sicko Mobb, Torey Lanez, Bauuer and Joey Labeija this Saturday.
