Sun Kil Moon and Jesu will release a collaborative album titled simply Jesu/Sun Kil Moon on February 19, 2016 via Caldo Verde Records.

The album continues a long-running musical relationship between Mark Kozalek and Justin Broadrick: Kozalek released Jesu’s 2009 Opiate Sun EP and 2011’s Ascension LP and has covered and referenced Broadrick’s band Godflesh in his work. [via Stereogum]

Naturally, Godflesh notched a spot in FACT’s list of the 40 best post-metal albums ever made.
