Amy is about to break another UK box office record.

After having the biggest opening for a British documentary (and the second-biggest documentary opening ever in the UK, behind Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11), Amy is about to become the best selling British documentary ever — after just a month in theatres.

Asif Kapadia’s Senna has a lifetime box office total of £3.17m. Amy currently sits at £3.16m, and Noisey claims that it will likely surpass Senna in the next 24 hours.
