Redlight will release his debut album X Colour this October.

Since changing his production name from Clipz to Redlight in 2009, Hugh Pescod has enjoyed a combination of underground hits and chart success, as well as releasing artists like NY Transit Authority and Mele on his Lobster Boy label.

X Colour features appearances from Roses Gabor, Prodigy of Mobb Deep and Billie Black. In Redlight’s words, “when I’m writing music, I’m always thinking about visuals, colours, emotions – a whole range of feelings and pressures. I wanted to create an album that was sometimes light / sometimes dark. I wanted it to be abrasive, uplifting and rich – through the journey and the collaborations, I’ve been able to create a final product that is something I really believe in.”

X Colour will be released on October 30 through Lobster Boy, watch a trailer, co-co-directed by Redlight in collaboration with Charles Golding/Hello Charlie, below.
