The band’s five decade run appears to be over.
In an interview with Classic Rock magazine (!), Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour says the band is done: “I’m done with it. I’ve had 48 years in Pink Floyd – quite a few of those years at the beginning, with Roger [Waters]… But it has run its course, we are done – and it would be fakery to go back and do it again.”
Previously, Gilmour confirmed that the band’s 2014 album, The Endless River, was their last. The band last performed live in 2005 at Live 8, which apparently was their last show. [via The Guardian]
