Though Josh Ascalon may be best known for his work with Das Racist, Cities Aviv, and Chairlift, he also crafts impassioned synth pop as The Great Void. He’ll release his new LP, Shift Age, through Olde English Spelling Bee on September 4, but first he’s shared a unique standalone video. ‘Eve Of Destruction’ is best remembered for Barry McGuire’s powerful performance on The Hullabaloo Show, and here Ascalon manipulates it to apply his own version over it.
