David Ashley and Khallee are no strangers to FACT, both as part of R&B supergroup JODY and as solo artists in their own rights.

Last week, Ashley dropped ‘Funny Food’, shifting his sights from the woozy songcraft of Perfect Dark towards politically-charged, no-nonsense rap storytelling. He continues that on ‘How Could I?’, a song that finds him duetting Khallee as the two try to “stay focused” during challenging times.

“We was in the stu all night just talking about all the crazy shit going on you know, just about being young and black and coming from where we come from,” Ashley writes. “That’s like the inspiration for my whole new shit: giving niggas stories that make up me.”
