The Fade to Mind singer returns.

Kelela just debuted ‘Rewind’ on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show. The song will appear on her Hallucinogen EP, which missed its originally-scheduled May release date but is now due out on October 9 via Warp (pre-order).

‘Rewind’ lives up to its title: it sounds like a Fade to Mind take on the bouncy R&B of the So So Def era. It’s produced by Kelela, Kingdom and Nugget with additional production by Girl Unit and Obey City — stream it below.

Earlier this year, Kingdom and Prince Will revisited Kelela’s Cut 4 Me and teased their plans for 2015.
