Rapper posts sub-par apology following homophobic on-stage slur.

Travi$ Scott has published an apology for the homophobic remarks he made during a show in Houston, Texas over the weekend. Scott says his outburst wasn’t intended to offend the LGBT community and claimed the incident was a result of being “excited”.

The rapper found himself in hot water after footage emerged of him labelling a section of the audience “a bunch of queers” and “faggots” during a Friday night performance at Houston’s House of Blues.

“I ain’t cool with none of you faggots who just sitting here looking like a bunch of queers,” he says in the video, which you’ll find down below. “You wearing a fucking La Flame shirt, mothafucka. You better act like it, bitch. [Or] I’mma rip it off your fucking back.”

Scott says he never meant to “disrespect that community” but was “excited” and “a lil turnt up,” admitting he got caught up in the moment and was “working on that.”

The 23-year-old rapper/producer released his debut album Rodeo last week through T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint. At this point, we still don’t know who Travi$ Scott is other than a skilled plagiarist and a bit of a prick.
