Australian duo share one of two fresh singles.

We last heard from Sydney’s Alba with the release of their debut 12″ almost two years ago. Knokke / Law arrived via Australian imprint Plastic World in 2013, backed by remixes from Detroit producers Rick Wade and Jimmy Edgar. Alba are gearing up to release their second EP; but before that they have two self-released digital singles to share.

The first is ‘Operator’, a hazy analogue house number that unravels across a languid bass line groove. Spoken word vocals are diced and dotted amongst textured dub techno swirls and smoky percussion. You can stream that one below.
