We’re nearing the point where we need a keyboard shortcut for “new record shop opens in London”.

The latest outlet to join the capital’s recent bloom of vinyl emporia is Cosmos Records London, located on Hackney Road.

The shop, which has a sister outlet in Toronto, has an impressive collection of original vinyl with a focus on soul, jazz and disco-related stuff. As you can see, renowned cratediggers Gilles Peterson and Lefto have already been down to pick up some goodies, and The Vinyl Factory has put together a visual tour of the shop to give you some idea of what’s on offer.

Head over to 324 Hackney Road to check it out, and make a day of it by popping into nearby Vinyl Pimp in Hackney Wick, Kristina Records in Dalston and Sister Ray’s recently opened Ace Hotel outpost.
