Artist Reuben Dangoor has created a series of paintings of grime MCs with a unique twist.

Through his work D Double E, Stormzy, and Skepta are all envisioned in impressionistic portraits that place them in historically traditional British settings.

D Double E becomes a military officer, Stormzy relaxes by the fire in a lavish living room with a portrait of Wiley behind him and Skepta carries the British flag on a horse. Head to Dangoor’s site for more work. [via The Fader]
