Slovakian studio DevKid has introduced Jamky, a drum machine that uses an ingenious wooden interface to create rhythms.
Described as a “post-digital” drum machine, Jamky’s circuits detect when a stone is placed on the grid and triggers a beat accordingly. It looks to be a one-off, but as you can see in the video below, it could provide the ultimate coffee table for gear heads. [via Electronic Beats]
