Praveen Sharma has been making music, both solo and with projects like Sepalcure (his duo with Machinedrum) for over a decade, but settled into a groove with his Braile alias in recent years, honing a take on house and garage that’s high on melody and rich atmosphere. On his Against the Clock we get an insight into how real Braille makes his music sound: as well as using piano and outboard synthesisers on the track, he samples himself hitting a glass, dropping drumsticks and more.
