The Norwegian label is laying out a smorgasbord (sorry) of quality leftfield electronics this weekend.
Oslo-based imprint Smalltown Supersound will take over Bloc, formerly Autumn Street Studios, in east London on Saturday, October 17, with an eclectic line-up drawn from home turf and further afield.
Headlining the night are Rocketnumbernine, the live outfit who’ve previously collaborated with Four Tet, Neneh Cherry and James Holden and are about to drop their new record, ‘Two Ways’, via Border Community.
Joining them are Norway’s own ambient electronic pioneer Biosphere and local house hero Bjørn Torske, plus a special guest in the shape of globe-trotting disco expert Daniel Wang and an ambient set from former Cult Music affiliate Prayer.
The night is part of the Clock Strikes 13 series, which sees fine labels like Ninja Tune, 1080p and Principe Discos taking over London’s clubs throughout autumn.
