Time No Place are preparing to drop two exciting and wildly different releases next month.
The first comes from Neal Reinalda’s project P.H.O.R.K. (Peoples Higher Order of Royal Kinship). Disappear In Raveland, as its dizzying first single ‘We All Make Out (A Living)’ shows quite well, takes a uniquely minimalist, hypnotic approach to house, techno and footwork and is described as “an ode to ritual and the language of dance music”.
As a nice counterpoint to the pristine rush of Disappear, the label will also release Psychic Health, the self-titled album from the LA duo of Devon Steffens and Gabriel Mounsey who layer their atmospheric techno with a sooty grimness. Their new single ‘China Knife’ builds from eerie abstraction to focused terror in only a few short minutes. Listen to both singles below and look for the albums on November 6.
