Kendrick Lamar performed selections from his sophomore album To Pimp a Butterfly with the National Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday evening. The one-off performance was held at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and was led by conductor Steven Reineke. Reineke is currently in his fifth year as Principal Pops Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra and has previously led performances featuring Nas and John Legend.
