Danny Elfman’s spooky soundtrack set for vinyl release.

Waxwork Records will release Danny Elfman’s original soundtrack to the new film adaptation of Goosebumps, which is currently screening in theatres. The label have enlisted Tim Jacobus to create the album artwork, which can be seen below. Jacobus was responsible for illustrating the iconic covers of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books.

The label explains, “The Waxwork Records crew grew up reading R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books feverishly and we, like so many millions of Goosebumps fans across the world, became obsessed with the horrific, yet bright, colourful, and welcoming artwork by Tim Jacobus that graced each book cover.”

The Goosebumps soundtrack will be released on 30 October. [via Bloody Disgusting]
