The legendary Soulquarian promises to drop the project next week.

Erykah Badu plans to release a mixtape called But You Caint Use My Phone, after a lyric in her 1997 single ‘Tyrone’. The mixtape is preceded by her remix of Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’, which dropped earlier this month.

Badu is tight-lipped about details or an exact release date, but tells Noisey that “the usual suspects” will be involved.

Update: Badu tells Fader that the mixtape will drop during Thanksgiving weekend and that it’s “a whole new frequency for the planet.”
