Following the successful documentary, Amy, Hollywood approaches a biopic of the late singer’s life.

Amy Winehouse will be getting the full biopic-treatment, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Writer and director Kristen Sheridan is slated to take on both duties for the film, with Girl With The Dragon Tattoo-star Noomi Rapace “in talks” to play the singer.

Meanwhile, Winehouse’s father Mitch Winehouse is planning to developing an alternative documentary to the record-breaking Amy after dismissing Asif Kapadia’s film as “misleading”.
