Sarah Fawkes finishes her strong year with her best EP yet.

Fawkes has had an excellent year. She dropped the great Vesuval EP, collaborated with Jlin and showed off her visual art over a series of hypnotic music videos. She has one more release before the year is out and she’s clearly saved the best for last.

Dusk Dawnflower collects two new tracks — ‘Seventh Greyknot’ and ‘Invocatio’ — that are among the most sharp and sinister we’ve heard from the Paris-based producer. That darkness is balanced by a pair of powerful vocals that move through the mix with the same chopped angularity, but speckle them with a gorgeous blacklight glow.
