A brand new five-day dance festival launches on the idyllic Caribbean island of St. Martin next spring.
SXMusic Festival has just announced its first wave of artists, with Hot Creations and Paradise main star Jamie Jones, London/LA disco duo Psychemagik and Life And Death label founder DJ Tennis among the DJs set to touch down on the tiny tropical paradise for a week in March.
Dubfire, Lee Burridge, Adriatique, Thugfucker, Blond:ish and Francesca Lombardo are also on the bill, which is geared towards longer sets for a more laidback mood, with plenty more artists still to be announced along with a number of secret after-parties on villas, boats and beaches.
The stages include a “forest retreat” with infinity pools and wooden platforms overlooking the tropical vegetation, a bay nestled in a cove, and a beach not far from the island’s airport where planes will thunder towards touchdown just metres above dancers’ heads (check it out in the video below – the island’s airport is well known to aviation geeks).
The festival takes place from March 9-13, 2016. A limited amount of bargain early bird tickets are on sale now from SXMusic Festival’s website, where you can also get information on how to book the best flights, hotels and villas.
