The South African kwaito star fell ill on his European tour.

Last month, DJ Spoko was admitted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he spent three weeks and received treatment for TB.

His contemporaries in the Highlife crew are helping to raise money to ensure that Spoko can get back home to South Africa, receive the necessary after-care and have the resources needed to help educate fellow South Africans about the disease.
