Global bass unity on Big Dada.

Machinedrum has had a busy 2015, with an appearance on the latest Roots Manuva album and most recently announcing the return of Sepalcure.

Rounding off the year is a remix EP for Melbourne-based MCs SK Simeon and Yaw Faso. The pair fuse African music (Simeon is originally from Uganda) with Jamaican and modern influences. Most recently they released on Lisbon’s Enchufada label following a collaboration with Buraka Som Sistema’s Branko.

The Maskya EP (Machinedrum Remixes) features two vocal cuts each from SK Simeon and Yaw Faso with Machinedrum transporting the originals into future dancehall realms.

The EP is out now on Big Dada.
